Iphone ringtones?

I know you can get iPhone ringtones off of itunes, but is there a website you can use to get free ones, like phonezoo? cause phonezoo doesn't work and i really wanna get some better ringtones... please help.

Iphone ringtones?
Depending on what operating System you have.

If you have Windows (XP or Vista) you would need a program that can convert songs to M4R. You can simply google Mp3 to m4r converter and you will see many options.

If you have Mac OS X (leopard) perfect! That means you have Garageband. If so, that means you can convert any song into an m4r. Then all you have to do is just transfer them to iTunes.

If you have any more questions you can ask me. I'm here to help :)
Reply:I had this problem to until yesterday when I saw this answer on Answers so know I will share it with you. When you go on myxer.com there is a link that says send to my phone (after you have gone to the song that you want.) Don't click on this. Under it it says download for iPhone. Click there. Once you have clicked this it will say open or save. Push save. You will save it on your computer. Once it is saved on your computer it will be in a folder of some kind, possibly your music folder. Then open up the folder that its in and your iTunes. It MAY be in your ringtones section of your iTunes(mine was) automatically, but if it isn't then just manually drag it there. Then all you have to do is sync your phone and tada you will have ringtones!

They email you the ringtone

It is free

You have to create an account

Once they email you the song, download the attachment, then it should open in iTunes, and sync your iPhone.

Good Luck!!
Reply:unfortunatley, nothing that I know of...

there are so many ways people say they can but i tried so many and nothing worked =[

I just bought it on iTunes after a while...

it actually depends on what firmware you have [1.0.2, 1.1.1, 1.1.2, 1.1.3, 1.1.4]. I'm pretty sure you can put ringtones on it if you have 1.0.2 oe 1.1.3 /1.1.4. But that requires you to jailbreak it which is the most stressfull thing ever and it can void your warranty.

Hope i helped ! ! !

Iphone ringtones?

hey ppl okay so heres my problem, i have an iphone and i really wanna get certain ringtones that itunes wont let me get, plz help me and give me a legit site that works with the iphone, or a way that i can get these ringtones that i actuall want.

also whats garage band. btw i have a dell laptop that runs on windows in case u needed to know like if i had a windows or a mac

Iphone ringtones?
now you can get ringtones off of myxer. i don't know if it matters what kind of computer you have. i don't think so. once you have picked the song that you want under the send to my phone it will say download for iphone. click that and then a box will open that says save and open. click save. it will save on your computer. once its there you will open both the folder its in and your itunes. it may already be in your itunes folder as a ringtone, but if its not then you will need to manually drag it there. once you sync your phone you will have ringtones.
Reply:you need a mac to make free iPhone ringtones sorry.

also garageband is an audio editing program included within the iLife mac software suite
Reply:mac

Verizon ringtones??

how does everyone have so many ringtones..and they get them for free

does anyone know how they do this?

i have a new cell phone and i want some ringtones..and i dont want to pay $3 for each one

is there any websites that actually work...and arent just spam crap

please let me know if you know anything..

Verizon ringtones??
no, not all ringtones they have are free. they get them from subscription sites that has $9.99/month. they have 10 ringtones + 10 bonus, which make it $0.50 for each ringtone. so its not free, but cheap for a legit ringtones from legit sites. hope this clear your questions.
Reply:I do, email me and I'll give you the instructions.
Reply:I use phonezoo.com. They have a lot of sounds on there. They don't have really any popular songs because of copyright laws. They do only charge a picture text fee to send them directly to your phone.
Reply:be sure that those free websites don't actually make you subscribe to a fee...
Reply:go to pen island dot com it has thousands of em
Reply:phonezoo.com is awesome!! it has all kinds of sounds, and all you do is put your phone info in and it sends the ring tone for free as a text message. then you only have to pay the few cents it costs for for an automatic download for a few seconds to conect w/the link in your text. and if you have a multimedia package it doesn't cost 4 the download. my friends n i do it all the time. =)

and you don't subscribe to anything, or pay any fee. we've been doing it for a couple yrs w/no problems @ all.

and literally, it takes only a few seconds to download the ring tone from the text message it sends. it's great!

oh, and you can also get backgrounds and games the same way on there too!

Free ringtones?

So I have tried the myxtertones, ventones, and phone zoo... all three either don't send my ringtones to me or try to make me go on the internet (which I don't have on my phone). Does anyone else have suggestions to get free ringtones with NO hidden costs and no internet? Is there even such a thing?

Free ringtones?
maybe, your carrier blocks free sites. how about recording your favorite song on your cp and set it as your ringer? i guess this can be done and no cost at all.
Reply:hmm try cellfish.com

it only works with some phones where you dont have to go onto the internet. but give it a shot

Make My Own Ringtones?

I have a Motorola Razor (Alltel). And I would really like to make my own ringtones.I have an account at Phonezoo.com and Im happy with it...the bad thing is that the ringtones can only be 30 seconds long....and thats not long enough for some of the ringtones I want to make.....SO all I want is a place where I can upload an mp3 file, cut it the way I want, have it be any length, and then text it ito my phone. Anyone have a place like that? oh and I want it to be free to do....the text rates dont matter though...

Make My Own Ringtones?
ventones

is the site you are looking for. They let you make ringtones however long you want, ive made some like 70 seconds. they dont have a limit. its a free site as well

Polyphonic ringtones compatibility??

i have a tracfone phone model motorola v170, im wondering if it is even possible to put polyphonic tones on this phone, it has a note maker thing, but thats it, i dont want alot of sites where i can find ringtones, thats nice and all, leave those if you want, but what i REALLY want to know is just if it's possible to put ringtones onto this phone. thx.

Polyphonic ringtones compatibility??
i think some other cellphone that has no internet could get ringtones through text.
Reply:yes, it is possible. polyphonic ringtones is the right ringer for it.
Reply:you can copy some ringtones with your friends phone via bluetooth,as long as you both have the same bluetooth profile.
Reply:The phone in question uses a standard usb to mini-usb cable. They can be picked up at any computer store. Then it's just a matter of searching for the midi files to transfer to your phone from your computer. In this manner you will have all the free ring tones you could possibly want.
