Where can I get free ringtones that actually will work on my phone? It's from altell, and I know there are thousands of sites, but many of them do not work, where can I get cheap-free ringtones preferably free.

where can i get ringtones that doesn't make you pay $9.99 for a monthly service charge thing?
please places that are fairly cheap wih ringtones, like $1.99 or somewhere around there.
it would be great if they were free.

if you download a program called ToneThis, you can customize songs from your computer and send them to your phone and use them as ring tones. it just depends on what type of phone you have. but thats what i use and i dont pay for ring tones.

Downloading ringtones?
I just got the Verizon Samsung sch-340u but on their website this model isn't on the list for downloading ringtones from their site. I was wondering if there were any good downloading sites i could go to instead. I really wanted to get a Nirvana ringtone and I tried ventones.com but it didn't really work for me. Does anyone know any reasonably priced websites for ringtones?

if you have an sd card reader,
you can make the ringtone on Ventones
and save it to your sd card after you download the ringtone,
then just text the ringtone from your sd card as an attachment to yourself.
that is a trick that my friends use with their verizon and Ventones
that way you can make all the tones in the world,
ventones works well with all companies except verizon.

Verizon ringtones??
i have a krzr and i always got my ringtones by sending them by email. now everytime i do it the ringtone goes to sound and cant put it as ringtone. i dont use phonezoo bacause it never arrives or mobile17. is there another way 4 ringtones????

Original ringtones for sony ericsson T630?
Do anyone know where I can find the original ringtones that should come on a new sony ericsson T630?
I have just bought one from ebay and the previous owner has deleted all the traditional ringtones including the ring ring one!!
I would like to know where I can download these any ideas??
I have tried all the traditional ringtone sites like mobile fun, jamster, bolt blue etc...

Transfering ringtones from your computer to your cell?
I have a brand new Motorola i880 Nextel.
I am trying to figure out how to use the ringtones on my computer and trasfer it to my phone. I already have a program where you can chop the length and save it mp3/wma...
I am currently stuck on trasferring it, I tried bluetooth and a memory card reader and they both don't work.
I am about to try the USB cable but have no clue on how to do it (didn't come with intructions). So any one who knows anything about ringtones transfering, answer please!
....I don't have web browser on my phone nextel charges an extra $20 a month for it, so receiving it text style is out of the question....

I really want some ringtones, but my dad blocked get it now downloads and he has a text messaging block on my phone so I cant send or recieve messages so I cant get ringtones from the computer, so does anyone know a way that I could possibly get some ringtones?

Its all pretty simple if you've got bluetooth on your computer.. you can get alsorts on your phone from the net for free that way.

I've never found any sites that will send you free tones for free but when i really wanted something before i had a bluetooth dongle, i just used the record sound on my phone... it worked pretty good as my phones thing that records sound is great.
Just hold your phone up near the speaker and record it...
