Downloading Ringtones!?

I just got a phone that you can download ringtones to. Do you guys download from your provider or do you download ringtones from other places?

Because I don't have a lot of time, here is a simple way to get free ringtones.





If you have a web-enabled phone (where you can tell it to go to a certain web address), you can basically upload a sound clip and then point your phone's web browser at it and tell it to download it.





You'll need to find a program that can cut down mp3's on your computer to like a 20 second clip (only 20 seconds cause most phones don't ring any longer before going to voicemail). You'll then need to upload that new mp3 onto a website (your Internet Service Provider usually provides you with some webspace). Then you tell your phone to go to that web address and download the ringtone.





I've done it for years with my T-Mobile phones with T-Zones. The great thing about T-Zones is that it's unlimited in download size so I can change the songs on my phone as often as I like.





If you don't have the means to download and upload, you can also point your web browser on your phone to any sample mp3 sound clip out there on the internet. Like I used to point my phone to walmart's site cause their song samples that you can listen to on the internet before you buy the cd was in mp3 format. I don't know if they still are, but if they are, that's one simple way to get free sound clips to be used as ringtones.

Reply:i get mine off the phone Internet (wap) from http://www.polyphonicringtonez.com/wap ON MY PHONE. they are free but they don't have any words but they work for me at least.
Reply:Create them yourself like I do if you can't find it free on the internet. Site I use is www.free-ringtones.ie. And software is Xingtone. free-ringtones.ie usually doesn't have what I'm looking for so I have to make it myself.
