ive heard of websites where you can recieve free ringtones for mobile devices. what are these websites? i have verizon wireless, does anyone know where i can get ringtones free?
Free ringtones?
a better site is Ventones
its an online ringtone maker,
and they send it right to your phone which makes it so easy
be carefull with other sites, they charge you $10 a month.
Reply:If you have some of the songs you want already on your computer you could download TONETHIS and create your own ringtones. It's 100% free and legal. You can pick the section of song you want to play as well.
Reply:phonezoo.com but instead of sending it to ur phone its better to send to ur email, save the file to ur computer then email it to ur phone.
Reply:Most such websites have a "catch" where you have to pay a monthly fee to get their ringtones. Since the payments go to the phone, rather than to a credit card, many teenagers (who, BTW, are expressly forbidden from entering into any monetary contract by US Federal law) sign-up for the ersatz "free" ringtones, unaware of the "fine print", and then the parents are stuck having to figure out what the extra $3 or so per month is about. Unfortunately, many parents ignore the relatively low sum, which is EXACTLY what these reprehensible services are hoping for. One State (I think Maryland, but don't quote me on that!), now prohibits any service from advertising or selling "free" ringtones within their State, even if the cellphone's area code is not for that State! Hopefully, more States will follow suit.
Reply:have you tried going to ringtoneripper.com you can transfer songs from your computer and then send then to your phone its soooo cool
