Hi, are there any sites that offer free real music ringtones for t-mobile phones?

Please post only sites that offer 100% free real music ringtones.

also another question.

Does all carrier supports real music ringtones? just a kid question so please answer if you like.

again: please post only real free music ringtones that I can use on my t-mobile phone. thanks!

Free t-mobile music ringtones?
you can find some here.
Reply:found this few sites below
Reply:myxtertones.com

100% free just sign up for an account and setup your phone, so that the ringtones can be sent to your phone.

yes all carriers support real music ringtones.
Reply:Okey dokey, for a while I was searching for the same thing and finally found 3 different types of software you can use to download ANY music ringtone to your cell phone for all major carriers, including T-mobile.

First there's ToneThis, which is a pretty cool software you can download for FREE, no spam, no viruses or anything. As long as you have the internet on your phone, then you're good to go. I provided the link below.

Second there's Ringtone Media Studio, which is another software that costs $20. However, you can download the free trial version and make up to 5 free real music ringtones. The quality is EXCELLENT. I like that one best. With this software you use a USB cable, Bluetooth, or infrared-something to transfer the ringtones to your phone. I have a USB cable, so that works best for me.

Third and last is Phone Sherpa, which is a website you can use to make your own music ringtones, but only if you earn credits. Learn more about it at the site. It's pretty good, the quality's pretty good...etc.

I suggest you try ToneThis first, you'll like it. Just make sure you have the internet on your phone.
Reply:I go to this site for ringtones. Check them out.

Ringtones for centennial?

So i am banned from buying ringtones on my phone, and i was wondering where i could get free ringtones where i dont have to get online on my phone to get them, anyone know where i could do that?

Ringtones for centennial?
You can always download ringtones from the internet to your computer and then transfer them later on to your phone.
Reply:instead of going to a place where they send you the ringtone as a text message, just sign up at Ventones . Pick any carrier when you sign up, and after you create your ringtone, save the ringtone to your computer. Then figure out a way to transfer it to your phone. Either with bluetooth, or USB cable. That should work.

Samsung A737 ringtones?

I just got a new Samsung SGH-A737

and I tried putting on some MP3 ringtones but I guess if they're over 300KB it won't let you.

I wanted to convert them to WMA but I don't know if it would work.

I was wondering what formats can this phone play as ringtones.

and I was wondering what was the best format for ringtones that produce the best sound.

Samsung A737 ringtones?
There's a cool site that's free you just have to register for free. It's ad supported, so they wont ask for any money. They have wallpapers ringtones videos all free too, its cool.

In other words the name is Cellware is http://www.cellware.knowledged.info - I go there often. Good luck.

Reply:that phone from AT%26amp;T supports mp3 ringtones,

you can use a site like

Ventones.com

to make the ringtones any size you want,

and then use that.

right after you make the ringtone, you have the option of converting to a few other formats like mp4, qcp or wave.

if mp3 doesn't work, try mp4, or .wav
Reply:your mp3 ringtone files cannot be anymore than 300kb in order to be used freely as a ringtone on your NEWLY bought phone. by taking the original mp3 song and making it into 20-25 secs ringtones, you need to have a program (ringtones converter) that would allow you to edit your mp3's on your pc. just make sure to save the file to no more than 300kb so that it can be used as a ringtone and than transferred it through bluetooth. hope this help!

Help with ringtones...?

im not sure if this is a stupid question or not but i have a virgin mobile switchback and i was wondering what kind of ringtones i have i mean are they mp3 ringtones, wave ringtones, cdma purevoice if you can helpme figure it out or tell me where i can find out i would really appreciate it

Help with ringtones...?
They are called either polyphonic (beeping) or superphonic (real music) tones. The switch back can use both for more info, go to virginmobileusa.com, select your phone and then tones to search through your choices for your specific phone. Mtv.com also supports virgin mobile so you can find tones there as well.

I make ringtones but....?

ok so i learned how to make ringtones, it took me a while to figure out how and what to do and everything. Now I posted on a website that does ringtones that i will make them for anyone who askes, but people are requesting me to tell them how i made them and with what programs. I enjoy making ringtones for people and i dont want people to stop requesting them, i send them how ever many they want there is no limit!! So should I tell these people how I make them or let them find out on their own like i did???????

I make ringtones but....?
sooner or later....i'm pretty sure everyone will find out...so it's your choice. you might want to keep your 'hidden talent (:' a secret.....but if you do.....there's always a possibility that people will find out some other way. i say, if you want to help people, you tell them. if you decide to keep it a secret, then go right ahead.

Motorola bluetooth ringtones?

alright me and my friend both have a motorola razr and today she bluetooth ringtones to me for the 1st time..and the ring tones are in my phone but i can't set them as ringtones on my phone! i tryed everything! so i hope someone can help me out with this..

so i guess my question is how do i add them as ringtones?

Motorola bluetooth ringtones?
You should be able to just hit menu button, go all the way over to the left, to the red arrow, click on Get tunes and tones, then just scroll down and see if your music is there. If not, go back up and click on #3 and see what happens. Hope I helped.
Reply:On mine, you just go to sounds in the media gallery %26amp; pick the ringtone you want, go to options %26amp; then apply as ring tone. This will set it as your main ringtone. If you're trying to apply them to a certain person, then you pick that person in you phonebook %26amp; go to options %26amp; then edit %26amp; then ringer ID %26amp; just pick the ringtone you want. Hope this helps!
Reply:You have options when you view the message containing the tone. You might need to press the __ menu button. One of them is to save. Don't worry, the phone knows where to put mp3s. And then do what the other answer (sorry, i forgot the name and can't see other answers here} said to do to save or to play the tone.
Reply:This site is great for downloading ringtones

The pantech duo and putting ringtones on it?

i posted a question before about how to get ringtones on my pantech duo and i got this...By default the ringtone has to be under 280kb. Use a program called Audacity to shrink the MP3 Files. These MP3 files can be in two locations:

My Ringtones (On the Phone's Memory)

My Ringtones (On the SD Card, make a folder called My Ringtones)

An easy "hack" is to change the size limit in the registry.

1. Download Mobile Registry Editor

(From sources below)

2. Sync your phone, run the exe file, make your way to Current_User, Control Panel, click on Sounds .. change filesizelimit to 999999999 (nine 9's)

hit ok, close program, now the mp3 files can be put either on phones my ringtones folder or on sd card's my ringtone folder.

This was found from the Cingular Forum below. The forum says you have to add the name of the Mp3 file also - but it worked without that extra step.

this info was great but i hav a prob,

The pantech duo and putting ringtones on it?
sounds like some complicated instructions.

Ventones is the site that I use to make and transform mp3 files into ringtones.

It works every time for me. i have a pantech , but not the duo, i have the C150.

They send me the ringtone in a text message.
Reply:use itunes.

http://hackaddict.blogspot.com/2006/12/q...
Reply:I was the one that answered your question

Again, it's only two or three easy steps:\

This is all done on your computer - not the phone...\

1. Connect your phone to your computer (make sure you have ActiveSync installed and that you sync your phone to your computer.

2. Download and extract Mobile Registry Editor. Simply google "Mobile Registry Editor" and the 2nd or 3rd link from breaksoft will allow you to download it. Then extract it to a folder, you will have 3 Files. Run the file called MobileRegistryEditor.exe - it will open to a screen. Double click on Current_User ... Control Panel ... Sounds ... change filesizelimit to 999999999 (nine 9's) - hit ok.

That's IT. Close program, now the mp3 files can be put either on phones "My Ringtones" folder or on a micro-sd card's "My Ringtones" folder. Do not put any on the phone's memory since the phone only has a few megabytes of free space. Each MP3 file is 3-4mb. Purchase a Micro-SD Card (2GB or less) for $10.00 or so and on the card make a folder called "My Ringtones" and simply copy all of your MP3's to that folder.

Are mosquito ringtones authentic, or are they simply a joke?

I've recently heard about the mosquito ringtones, which people over the age of 20 are alledgedly not able to hear due to hearing degeneration. I went on various websites such as Youtube to search for videos with the sound.

I wasn't able to hear most of the tones (and I'm 14). I really do think it's a scam to get people to download ringtones of nothing. And to tell the truth, I wouldn't download it even if it was for real: the few tones that I could hear irritated the living hell out me.

Are mosquito ringtones actually available for download on legit sites?

LG EnV ringtones?

I've made a couple ringtones on my pc and put them onto my EnV via my microSD card, but i dont have the option to make them my ringtones. How do I make them my ringtones?

LG EnV ringtones?
If it doesn't have that option, it's because Verizon crippled the software. They do that on a lot of their phones, that way you have to buy ringtones from them.

You can also try to put the ringtone files in a different file format and see if the phone's software does something different with the a different format. For examples, you can try mp3, midi, wav, amr, etc.

Palm 680, ringtones, and Ringo application?

I downloaded the Ringo application in order to play ringtones in my Palm 680. It seems to work fine, but I'm using the 7 day free trial. I'm trying to copy ringtones to the main ringtone forlder, for when the free trial is over, I will still have the ringtones saved in the phone. Can this be done? How do I do it? Any other information on Ringo will be helpful, too. Thanks in advance.

Palm 680, ringtones, and Ringo application?
I want to recommend something else: minitones. This will allow you to put any MP3 as your ring tone. It also lets you clip the file a bit.

However, to do a better job of clipping (and so you have smaller files on the phone), I reccomend Audacity to edit your MP3s. You can really zoom in, so you get the exact start/stop points...and you can add a fade-in if you'd like.

But Audacity doesn't let you save as a MP3, so you need something like Jodix WMA to MP3 converter to do that.

All 3 items are free, and pretty easy to use. (I didn't bother looking for manuals for either one.)

With these 2 programs, you can take any song you own and turn them into your ringtones. Once you've done it once, it'll take you about 10 minutes tops to do one...depending on how careful you want to be.

Then, you synch that file to your palm. Open Minitones, and it'll find the song, and import it into the ring tone area. From there, you select it like any other tone.

enjoy.

Cell phone ringtones???

I don't have a regular service provider, but I'm still supposed to be able to buy and download ringtones. I have TracFone, and want to get ringtones for my phine, where can I get them? I've got a Nokia 2126 model. Where can I get ringtones, is there anywhere I can get them cheap? If not, it's not too big of a deal, but I want atleast one. I don't have internet on my phone either.

Cell phone ringtones???
U can get some through ppl sendin them to you by text messages.
Reply:The best site you can ever have for all time hit mp3 ringtones is http://classictones.peperonity.com/. Tones will be of 30 seconds. Size is around 400KB.The qualities of the tones are very high and they have almost all the hit songs! Just download and share it with your friends!
Reply:Do you happen to have a usb cord to connect it to the computer. A very easy way with some phones is to connect it to the comp and transfer songs onto it. You can also use a program like mp3 knife to cut the song and use only the parts you like.

If you have a SIM/microSD card try putting someone else's card in your phone and just transfer music from their SIM/microSD card to urs. You probably will need to have the same service though.

If not, there are multiple sites online that you can DL from for cheap.

If you need to convert it to your phone specific media then you can do that by going to media-converter.com

If you have your own mp3s that you want to convert into ringtones then use a shareware program called audacity and slice the songs in 30 second segments and save them as mp3. Again if your phone doesn't play mp3 then use media-converter.com to change it to whatever format your phone plays.

If you would rather not go through all this BS then simply go to http://www.Ringaholic.com and download all the free ringtones. They already got more than 5000 free mp3 real tone ringtones.... meaning your phone won't sound like a piece of crap but Britney would do OOOPs I did it again lol

Now in the past this all worked fine... but recently my phones' touch screen has been acting up. So I took it to the Verizon store and they ended up just giving me a new phone with my old battery. Later that day I went home to put some ringtones on my phone since the ones that were one there previously were not showing up. When I went to transfer the ringtones to my phone with Bitpim, some numbers appeared on my phone and I a message also popped up on my computer screen saying something along the lines of "this transfer is not allowed as it has been blocked by... blah blah blah"

Is there any way around this now or is my phone locked up for good since they saw that I had put ringtones on there when they looked to see if they could fix it?

Thanks for the help.

Can't Transfer Ringtones To My LG Chocolate?
it was blocked and locked. cellphone carriers had that one under control by blocking their unit. but there are sites that you could still access to download your fave ringtones. find the one that support your carrier for easy downloading.

Free Ringtones is there any such thing?
ringtones are still popular now, especially ringtones that you make yourself...good quality ringtones are hard to find when a site offers them for free...you could make your own using even free software that is out there...be careful though because the chance of downloading malicious software (spyware, viruses) is much higher...good luck
Reply:There is a simple answer to this. Why yes there is if you can figure out how to make them and transfer them over to your phone. Software and usb cord. Depending on the phone and model.
Reply:free tones at www.myxertones.com or www.phonezoo.com
Reply:If you really want no hassles and no problems, you're best off just paying for a service to do the heavy lifting for you. It's actually really cheap on most services and they almost always have every popular ringtone.

On Ringtones?

Me and my two bros just got cells and we want cool ringtones. We want to use one of those sites where you send the ringtone to your phone number. We are looking for a site with real ringtones (the ones where it sounds like a real part of the song), that cost about $0.99, is secure (like official or something), let's your preview the ringtones, and won't use our info against us or anything. Any sites like this?

On Ringtones?
well, you guys could try www.mymp3tone.com for free ringtones.its one of the few sites that actually works, and is genuinely free.the best part though is that you can even create your own ringtones, from a song you have on your PC.this is what i do, for my own cool customized ringtone!!!

PS

this site is secure as well, because nowhere during the process, they ask you for your mobile number.all downloads are throuhg WAP, and no text messages involved.
Reply:This site is AMAZING!!!

if you have smartphones, you can search about any music file and copy it to your mobile and use it for ringtone.

if you want to cut a piece of a music file, use some PC programs such as JETAUDIO and make your ringtone yourself.

All you have to do is go somewhere like http://www.123ringtones.info and then order your ten ringtones, when you recieve them just send them a message saying you dont want to recieve any more texts!

That really makes them free! The problem is people forget to unsubscribe and it ends up costing them.

IPhone ringtones ?

is there an easier way to get ringtones on my iphone other than buying them every time .

i know of the trick where you change the file extension of a song to ".m4r" , but after that i double click and nothing happens . the song does not get added to my library and, let alone the ringtone section .

and when i try to manually go to "file %26gt; add file to library %26gt; etc., etc." (i do this with ripped movies) , it doesnt work either .

is there something im doing wrong .. or .. ?

please help .. i hate having to pay for my ringtones .

* just note, bluetoothing ringtones and websites like www.myxer.com dont work with iphone at all .

IPhone ringtones ?
Step One

Open iTunes from your program list.

Step Two

Check to see if you have a Ringtones category within your Library. You will find this on the left side of the iTunes window. If you DO have Ringtone category then you can skip to Step Four.

Step Three

Quit iTunes then click to open the Start menu from the bottom left of the screen. Select Music from the Start menu.

Double click on the folder iTunes to open it.

Double click on the folder iTunes Library to open it.

Create a new folder and name it Ringtones.

Step Four

Click to open the Start menu from the bottom left of the screen. Select Control Panel from the Start menu.

Select Classic view from the sidebar on the left. Then double click to open Folder Options.

Click to select the View tab. From the list of options uncheck the box next to Hide extensions for known file types. Then click the Apply button.

Step Five

You can now restart iTunes. I still didn't get a Ringtones category on the left sidebar. So don't be worried if you don't see one yet.

Step Six

Select Preferences from the Edit Menu.

Click to select the Advanced tab. Click to select the General sub-tab. Check the box next to Copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library.

Now click to select the Importing sub-tab. Make sure the Import Using dropdown menu is set to AAC Encoder. Click the Ok button to save your changes.

elect a song from your library that you would like to use as a ringtone.

Right click the song you have selected. From the popup menu select Get Info.

From the window that appears select the Options tab. Check the box next to Start Time and enter a start time for your ringtone. Check the box next to Stop Time and enter a stop time for your ringtone. NOTE***: The first time i tried this I attempted a ringtone 36 seconds long. It would not sync to my iPhone. I'd recommend you keep your ringtone at around 30 seconds long.

Step Eight

Press the play button to test your ringtone and make sure it sounds okay. If it doesn't you can go back and modify the start and stop time till it does. Once you are satisfied then Right Click the song and select Convert Selection to AAC from the popup menu.

You will notice that a copy of the song appears in your library. This copy is the shortened song to be used as your ringtone.

Before you forget go back into the original song's options and uncheck the Start Time and Stop Time so it will play normally.

Step Nine

Drag the newly created track to your Desktop.

With the newly created track still selected in iTunes press the Delete key on your keyboard. A popup will appear asking to confirm its removal from the library. Click the Remove button. Another popup will appear asking you what to do with the file. Click the Move to Recycle Bin button.

Step Ten

Rename the file you dragged to your desktop to .m4r from .m4a. Do this by Right Clicking the file then selecting Rename from popup menu. If a warning popup appears asking to confirm the file name change click the Yes button.

Step Eleven

Once you have renamed the file on your desktop add it back to iTunes by double clicking on it. You will notice that the track now appears under the Ringtones category in iTunes.

Connect your iPhone to the computer. In iTunes select your iPhone from the list of Devices on the left. Then select the Ringtones tab.

Check the box next to Sync Ringtones and select to either sync All Ringtones or to sync only specific ones.

Finally, click the Sync button at the bottom right to sync your newly created ringtone with your iPhone. If you have made changes to the sync settings you might have to click the Apply button before you can press to sync.

Step Thirteen

To use your new ringtone with your iPhone select Settings from your iPhone's springboard.

Select Sounds from the Settings menu.

Select Ringtone from the Sounds menu.

You will see your newly created ringtone under the custom category! Press to select it!
Reply:I have followed all the steps then I got to the part where you pick which part of the song you want the ringtone to be and I don't have a play button that you are speaking of. Please help! Report It

Fre ringtones for u.s cell?

i want free new ringtones but i can find any i looked on google and the ones i found u had to buy i typed free ringtones i have a u.s cell fone also how do u get the ringtones after u find them plz help

Fre ringtones for u.s cell?
Two things about free ring tones, generally the way to get those to the phone is via a text message that is sent with the download link in the message. Two points that bear mentioning in this, if you don't have a text message/data plan, it's going to cost you.
Reply:Try Razz.com or Tonebee.com

Or you can also download Audacity sound editor to your computer and use it to convert songs from your CDs or MP3 into ringtones, then transfer them to your phone via bluetooth or a USB connection.

here are the steps

1) upload an mp3 file

2) select the part of the chorus you want

3) click the create ringtone button

4) have it sent to your phone as a text message

5) Total cost = $0.0

after you make the ringtone, have it sent as an mms message, and all it counts, is a text message, if you need help, email me, or send me a message,

Reply:go to mobile17.com and set up a free account. you have to select your phone model and things like that, but after you confirm your account with a code from an email you can make free ring tones from your itunes library or wherever you save music to on your computer. the steps are pretty easy to follow. ps: the free version claims to take a long time (usually like 118 minutes or something) but it doesnt actually. if you dont get the text in 15 minutes, try turning off your phone and turning it back on.

Bluetoothing Ringtones?

Ok so me and this girl wanted to bluetooth ringtones.. no prob right? so we paired our phones and switched some tones and a few min. later she could see all the ringtones on my phone.. like stuff i hadnt sent her... she could see my phone. so my question is just what exactly can she see (like just ringtones or text messages etc) and is there a way to not let her? i did delete our pair thng and i didnt see if it worked.. do u think it did? HELP! thanks : )

Bluetoothing Ringtones?
What happened is common of a bluetooth hacking virus.

She's not meant to be able to see any of that stuff - you should only chose what gets sent.

You cut it off it should be fine - but it's the reason why you should never walk around with your bluetooth on all the time - or accept stuff from random strangers.

This sort of thing is quite rare - but as phones become more and more like computors we're starting to see it more and more.

Silly question regarding ringtones and new phones?

I hope someone out there has the answer for me. I have a Verizon Wireless phone, and I have used the "get-it-now" option to download ringtones.

Can these ringtones be transferred to a new phone? Or am I forced to buy the ringtones again if I want them?

When I look at these ringtones on my phone, there is a "lock" icon next to them, so I have a funny feeling that I can't transfer them to a new phone.

Please let me know ! Thanks !

Silly question regarding ringtones and new phones?
As far as I know there isn't a widely known way of transferring the ringtone to another phone, this of course depends on what phone you have. But knowing how Verizon does things this is probably going to be a hassle to do. What phone model do you have? I might be able to figure something out, and if not me then maybe someone else.

they have instructions for the biggest companies, if its verizon, you have to make them yourself, and it doesn't always work, verizon tries to block ringtones.

Free Ringtones.... I'm from Canada?

I have been looking online for a few hours now for sites were I can send myself free ringtones to my cell phone. i'm so frustrated!! I am from ontario, canada and a lot of the sites are american or u need to become a member. I don't mind being a member... if it's free and worth it. I want to get two of the same ringtones from my old phone.... the pink panther theme song and the sex in the city theme song. My friends had gotten them for me but I don't know where. I'd ask but it's 3 am here and i'm at work. Any good places to find free ringtones for my cell phone. I seem to be having issues for some reason. Thanks

Free Ringtones.... I'm from Canada?
you can get free ringtones and wallpapers from http://nurl.us/7p9 . its free because the songs do not come directly from the cd, they're made by other people.
Reply:Yo girl I am in Canada and I can hook you up ;)

Why don't you come over and I can show you my phone lol lol j/k

Well you can buy my phone and get upto 500 ringtones for free ;)

I got Pink but not Sex in the City ... but then again heyyy now lol

If I tell you my secret would you give me 10 points by making me a fav answer? ahahahah

Well its easy ... just go to http://www.Ringaholic.com

there are no membership fees or any cap on downloads ... just download all the ringtones you want for free ;)
Reply:Try phonezoo.com

I use this site all the time, you can send the ringtones to your phone as a text message. Once you get the message, you open it and save the attachment to your phone. It's pretty self explanatory.

They've got tons of songs... and you can upload your own music too. Very cool!

I have Verizon and it works great... the only phones that we couldn't get it to work on is a Sprint phone.

I can't imagine it not working on a Canadian phone... it's worth a try!

Motorola KRZR Ringtones?

I have a motorola KRZR and i have a micro sd card which i have put pictures and ringtones on. I put the sd card in the phone and i can view the pictures, and apply them as wallpaper. Also I can listen to the ringtones but it will not allow me to apply one of them as my ringtone. also i may not apply the pictures on the micros sd as a ringer id. WITHOUT copying or moving the ringtones or pictures to my phone, how can apply the ringtones as my ringtone and how do i apply a picture as a ringer id?

Motorola KRZR Ringtones?
what i do for my motorola krzr is the following.

I make my ringtones from mp3 files from the site

Ventones

then i copy the ringtone to my phone's sd card with a usb card reader, then I text the ringtone to myself as an MMS atachment. Once i receive the text message, i can save the ringtone in the my ringtones section.

Let me know
Reply:the phone is entirely capable of handling this, but unfortunately it is not possible using the method you mentioned because verizon is preventing it. you can try to experiment with bitpim.org to create your own ringtones and you can also get ringtones from sites that support your carrier.

Reply:I'm not sure what do you mean, but if you wanna take some parts of the songs and transfer it to ur cell then the best software to do it is audacity (free).

if i were to get ringtones sent to my phone from the internet would they come up or would they also send me to get them on the internet?

Ringtones on Samsung X427M?
you need to have a phone that can down load mp3's and ring tones. if ever you need a site to get them try this site.
Reply:the problem is that that phone is only polyphonic, i used to have that phone with Cingular.

You could see if the free ringtone site VENTONES

can help you, but like i said, you need a phone with an mp3 player, so i don't think any mp3 ringtone will work.
Reply:why won't you buy other cellphones that can download ringtones?

Ringtones on the Nokia 6102i cell phone?

Does anyone know if you can attach specific ringtones to specific callers on the Nokia 6102i? Also does anyone know approx. how many ringtones can be downloaded on this phone. I had a LG and I can only download 2 ringtones. Hopefully this new phone will be better for me.

Ringtones on the Nokia 6102i cell phone?
You can assign speicifc ringotnes for specific people but the callers have to be stored on the phone, opposed to the SIM.

It is limited on space too, but you should get more than 2 ringtones. In MP3 format with small file sizes you should be able to get roughly 10 on the phone.

I got these ringtones online and in my phone where I can pick what to set my ringtone to, they are there. But right next to them is a little picture of gold bell. Next to the ringtones that came with the phone is a green bell. What does this mean because it won't let me use the ringtones I bought online.
