Ok so me and this girl wanted to bluetooth ringtones.. no prob right? so we paired our phones and switched some tones and a few min. later she could see all the ringtones on my phone.. like stuff i hadnt sent her... she could see my phone. so my question is just what exactly can she see (like just ringtones or text messages etc) and is there a way to not let her? i did delete our pair thng and i didnt see if it worked.. do u think it did? HELP! thanks : )
Bluetoothing Ringtones?
What happened is common of a bluetooth hacking virus.
She's not meant to be able to see any of that stuff - you should only chose what gets sent.
You cut it off it should be fine - but it's the reason why you should never walk around with your bluetooth on all the time - or accept stuff from random strangers.
This sort of thing is quite rare - but as phones become more and more like computors we're starting to see it more and more.
