Downloading ringtones?

I have an Alltel phone and I do not like the ringtones that the phone came with. I would like to find a site where I can download ringtones (preferably free) without having to pay a monthly fee and they guarantee that they are a legtimate site and will keep my info private.

Your cell phone company charges you for data sent to your phone from the internet. This is, unless you have a data plan(internet plan) for your phone, its usually around 20 dollars a month. If you don't, then your phone company will charge you around 5 dollars per ringtone(varies with the size) even if the website you get it from is free.

Reply:well i use www.mobile17.com whatever songs you have on your computer you can make into ringtones. the only problem is that you have to have the internet on your phone or it will charge you for downloading it off your phone internet
