Ringtones?

There's a song that I like, i have it as a mp3 file. Is it safe to cut part of the song off and use it for a ringtone?

I dont see how it could possibly be unsafe, as long as your cellphone allows you to upload mp3s

Reply:Just wondered how you "cut part of the song off"? I'd like to do the same, have loads of MP3 songs on pc which I play through Windows Media Player but intro's usually way to long for ringtones..... Thnx.
